Buildtec is focused on the Residential, Commercial and Industrial markets with particular emphasis on the growing Compact Living sector. This sector in particular makes use of off-site construction technology and is transported to site as flat packed, “White Box” semi-constructed, or completed units. Buildtec was established to provide various light steel framed building solutions and well as products to market and to establish themselves as the preferred construction company in South Africa. The system is extensively used across many countries around the world and South Africa has adopted building standards from various countries to develop their own SANS 517 Building code. This method of building has been well tried and tested over the past 50 years and is becoming the preferred way of building in many countries including Africa.
